Rex Whistler (1905-1944) then proceeded to study at the Slade School of Art, where he met Stephen Tennant, soon to become one of his best friends and a model for some of the figures in his works. Through Tennant, he later met the poet Siegfried Sassoon and his wife Hester, to both of whom Whistler became close.

Memoirs of a Fox-Hunting Man is Sassoon’s semi-autobiographical account of his early years in Kent and the beginning of the First World War. In it Sassoon drew on his pre-War diaries but published the book anonymously and used a stand-in narrator called George Sherston. Published in 1928, it summoned up a lost way of life.

Our policy is valid for a period of 30 days. If 30 days have passed by since your purchase however, we're unable to give an exchange or refund.
In order to be eligible for a refund your product must be unopened and in the same state as you received it. It should also be in the original package.
