This witty and sophisticated review of 1950s era New York eateries is prized for the marvelous b & w illustration that accompany each restaurant review. In the introduction, Botsford pays tribute to the restaurateurs, whose job he compares to “walking a tightrope over Niagara” but with “a soufflé in one hand and a short loin of beef in the other.” Includes reviews of many of the Midcentury’s greatest restaurants, such as the Algonquin, the Colony, El Morocco, Le Pavillon, and Quo Vadis.

Our policy is valid for a period of 30 days. If 30 days have passed by since your purchase however, we're unable to give an exchange or refund.
In order to be eligible for a refund your product must be unopened and in the same state as you received it. It should also be in the original package.
